📖 Let's start with basics...
We started as a small gaming group on December 7th, 2012. Caveton was known as the “Fraughtian Community” or “Fraughtia”. These names are often used interchangeably by people familiar with our history. So, if you come across any of these names, you’re reading about the same community.
⏳ Eras and GENs and Periods, Oh My!
Our history is divided into official divisions called eras. Depending on when a member joins, they are considered to be part of a particular generation or GEN. This term is less precise but more popular. Periods encompass eras to make understanding the timeline easier. You may also see "stifles" in some documents, which older term for moments in eras that don’t fit in well with the general “feel” of their era.
We are currently in Generation 15, which started on 12 July 2023. All new members since that date belong to GEN 15, while everyone who joined earlier is in a prior generation.
